Wisconsin Home Inspector - 4-Square Home Inspections, LLC

Quite impressed. This is the third home inspection that we have had and this is by far is the most detailed and professional inspection. There were things that were pointed out that I never would have even considered. If an inspection is needed by us or friends and family, we will be giving 4Square a call. Great job...

LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER, GREGORY LIEBIG EARNS LEAD ABATEMENT SUPERVISOR CREDENTIALS

SHEBOYGAN, WI, August 1st, 2008:  4-Square Home Inspections, LLC announces that Gregory Liebig earns the Credentials as a licensed Lead Abatement Supervisor by Wisconsin's Department of Health and Family Services.

About three-quarters of the nation's housing stock built before 1978 (64 million homes) contains some lead-based paint. Chips and dust from this paint can create a health hazard. Recent studies indicate that almost one million children have blood-lead levels above safe limits. To protect children from exposure to lead in paint, dust, and soil, Congress passed the Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act of 1992, also known as Title 10.

The property owner has ultimate responsibility for the safety of your family, tenants, or children in your care. To learn more about lead-safe practices and actions you can take before beginning work, read EPA's lead hazard information pamphlet Renovate Right: Important Lead Hazard Information for Families, Child Care Providers, and Schools (PDF) (20 pp, 3.3MB). En Espanol (PDF) (20 pp, 3.2MB)

To protect against this risk, on March 31, 2008, EPA issued a rule requiring the use of lead-safe practices (79 pp, 847K) and other actions aimed at preventing lead poisoning. Under the rule, beginning in April 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

A Lead Abatement Supervisor is required to be on-site for the duration of the project. 4-Square Home Inspections, LLC is a registered Lead Based Paint Company that can help you with your needs.
